Is there a reason why shareasale doesn't have a forum here?

I am trying to find pros and cons regarding Shareasale. Is there a reason why there isn't a specific forum for it here although there are forums for other affiliate programs?

    Hi Bob,

I'm not a mod here so can't answer for the DP folks. But they are missing forums for several of the top networks like Google Affiliate Network and Linkshare too. I think like most forums they just add new sections once there is a big enough demand.

As far as SAS goes, even though it's a smaller network than the top 3 are, it's more highly regarded by affiliates than most. There are LOTS of pros to the SAS network. Are you looking for affiliate pros or merchant pros? I can probably help in either case. Plus if you use the search button here, you'll find lots of positive feedback and hardly any negative.

Anyway, I doubt the omission of a SAS forum is due to any problem with them. I just don't think there are as many DP affiliates with questions about programs on SAS. The affiliates here seem to be more interested in Clickbank and CPA networks.

Thank you. I did do some searching here and found mostly positive responses for SAS. I am a merchant looking for affiliates for a line of engraved gemstone jewelry I'm creating. Google is too expensive for me and CJ is way above my requirements. I've been experimenting with Clickbank for an online import manual but sales are lackluster to say the least. Thought I'd try an actual product instead.

Shareasale is a great network. I've been using them for years. Much cheaper for smaller business to get into. They have adequate but not great reporting, and many of their merchants don't have all that great of graphics, but it's a great way to find products and services to promote. And I have always been paid on time.

Linkshare is more like CJ focusing on a higher end clientele. I use them as well. Tougher to get individual merchants to accept you. I'd suggest people use Shareasale as they build up their experience.

Who knows why DP chooses one over another? If they added a linkshare and shareasle network would it create more visitors and be beneficial? Maybe they will over time.

Yes for what you are trying to do I'd say Shareasale is the best option by far.
