Is there a program available that allows you to track your Adsense clicks?

I'm wondering if there is a detailed software program that allows you figure out exactly what adsense ads on a page are getting clicks. Is there such a software? How much does it cost? The information Google gives in insufficient.

Also, is it a violation of TOS?

There's one powerful software...I think it's called Adsense Tracker. ANd if my memory doesn't fail me, it's $95 or something.

Found a site at http://www.adsensetracker.com/. Anyone try what they're selling? Does it work and does it violate the TOS? I'm willing to pay their $67 if it works. My main concern is whether this will clash with the TOS.

Adsense Gold is another one that works quite well. It is very highly talked about and very reasonably priced.

Do a search in google and it should come up pretty easily.

I purchased Adsense Gold about a month ago and so far it has paid for itself many times over. Im not an affiliate but maybe i will sell this software as its that good.

However the only down side is that it will not track mozzie or netscape clicks, but even so it give me all the info i need.

I've never used Adsense Gold. How would it pay for itself? It doesn't increase revenue, it is just tracking clicks, right? Sorry, if it is a dumb question. These programs like AdSense Tracker usually satisfies curiosity but doesn't really give me any information that I would take action on to make more money.

In a program such as adsense gold it allows you to see what size, color combo etc that is working best for you. It also allows you to know what ads they are clicking on and what page it came from. This allows you to custom tailor your site to maximize clicks. If you go to their site at www.adsensegold.com you will find a video tutorial that explains it in depth and also a live working demo.

Another great feature is it will track both Adsense now and Yahoo. So for the amount they want for it it is worth the money.

I'm new to the forum, so I appologize in advance if this question should have started a new thread.

I just started using AdsenseGold and am pretty happy overall. The one thing missing (that I have to have) is the ability to map clicks to the original referrer and keywords (how the visitor initially came to my site). From what I can tell, AsGold only allows me to know the page the visitor was on before the page where they clicked an ad.

Am I missing something? Do any of the other tools allow you to see the original referrer and keywords?

The Analytics hack - http://www.digitalpoint.com/~shawn/2005/11/track-adsense-clicks-with-google-analytics.html - worked great for this until it stopped working for me a couple weeks ago. Any ideas on how to get this working again would be even better - since I hate logging in to different services all day, and it's free : )

Thanks a ton for any help.

It does allow you to view the origianl referrer in your control panel. Play around with it a little and also view the help manual and you will see where to find it.

Hi NetCode. Thanks for the information.

I was reading the stats completely wrong. my bad.

Another AsGold question though. It appears that it's only recording a fraction of my clicks. for example: it's showing 25% of what my AS stats are showing so far today - and the same thing was true yesterday. The views are right, just 3/4+ of clicks aren't getting caught (my non IE visitors make up less than 10% of visitors)

On another site i'm using AsGold for, the clicks are more inline with the real number. Both sites are on a different domain than where I have AsGold installed.

Any suggestions on what may be wrong? I would send these questions to AsGold support, but that doesn't seem to exist?

    Thanks again!

I appreciate the advice. I'm going to take a look at some of the stuff you guys posted. I found a free ebook online related to Adsense, and I'm reading it as well.

That is the best way to go. There is so much free you can find on how to do things online and if you only ask people that there is sometimes no reason to pay alot of money for it.

I see that Adsense Tracker only supports IE clicks. Does adsense gold support clicks from all browsers?

What about if those that owns such software register your password and username in a database and then give away the info to their friends so they can steal your money?
