Hi guys, I was just wondering if you still get a PR increase (or a likely) one if the homepage of a directory is PR7 but the actual page with your site on (Sub section in "health") is PR0? Thanks, Dom
There is nothing wrong with being on a pr 0 page. If the homepage is a 7 then there is a good chance that the page you are on will get maybe a 5 in the future. The best thing to do is list now, this way you might get the pr benifit on the next update.
Yep, PR0 pages are fine for the long haul. They will get PR eventually. That is one of the reasons that feature links are a good deal, they get you on the first page of listings (the one that will likely get PR first).
But I mean for example DMOZ homepage is 8-10 but the health section is 0. It's been up for ages so it'll probably always be 0. Does the homepage rank affect my page?
My view is better for example to be on a PR4 page on a directory with Home Page PR 5 than on a PR0 of a directory with Home Page of PR8
