Is there a market for this? (Paypal related)

    I hope this is the right section to post this in, if not, my apologies. (I think Paypal is the closest fit.)

    What I'd like is to get people's opinions on whether or not there is a market for a site I'm planning to set up.

    Here's the run down;

    A few months ago I decided I needed a US bank account and debit card as part of operating various small online businesses. I spent a long time researching different websites that offered bank accounts for huge amounts of money, none looked legit. Many websites just sold you "guides" that were supposed to help you convince a real US bank to open an account for you. (Having spoken with a few US banks I know they wont open an account for you without a large deposit unless you go to the US in person and even then, they want a US address and phone number.)

    Anyway, after much looking around and contacting different people, I found a solution.

    I wont spell out what it is here but basically it's a virtual US account with a trusted company (and it IS a trusted company, you'd all know the name) with a debit card attached to it to use online or get money out of ATMs.

    The beauty is, it's able to be linked to Paypal to withdraw funds AND it's available all over the world - including India where I know a lot of people have trouble.

    The cost of the card is free/low, depending on your location, it takes a little effort and 2 or 3 months to get it, it's valid for two years.

    Is this something people would be interested in? Would you be interested in it?

    I'm not selling anything at this stage, I'm planning to set up a site with all the info for a small fee, but I'd like to know what others thought first.

    Thanks to anyone who can offer their opinion :)

    Hi, personally I wouldn't be interested, but if you say that in India many people could be interested, then it would be a matter of getting your site known to them, so a referral program here would be mandatory so other indians can recruit new customers for you.

    Indian PayPal account holders can't withdraw their funds to US banks. This option is not available now. So, you can't expect Indians to buy your service.
