Is there a market for custom song writing, this is my web - www.youranthem.com

it will tell you the services i do for business, gifts, websites and soundtracks.

I've had a few orders, but waiting for my domain name to start really promoting it.

I have done little research and my question is... IS THERE A MARKET FOR CUSTOM SONG WRITING if so HOW DO I MARKET IT and WHERE

is there an elance or rentacoder for musicians???

    Thanks

    Joe

That is the place, as the kiddies want songs!
    Hahahahhaha
myspace for kiddies and the guys who love kiddies!

Saw somewhere that a lot of companies now google and myspace, etc prospective employees.
And of course, if the prospective employees posted stuff like: my favorite sport is getting drunk and running naked through the park...chances are, not hired!

i think you have a great idea there... but it can be very tricky sometimes when you're trying create a market that doesn't exisist. The best possible soluation for this is to try finding keywords that closest match what you're trying to sell. for example, you can try creating some trageted adcopy around the keywords "american idol", "auditions" and "recording studio" etc to see if there is market.

There's a big market for writing jingles for radio stations and commercials and what not. Search around the net and see what you find.

Try advertising on yes myspace and also other sites that cater to local bands that may be just getting into having their own music as opposed to jsut playing classics.

You must be doing something right if you have orders.
