I only found one by chance so far, it has 5 ads per page, refreshed his page many times and didn't see my site showed up.
See the 'under the radar' threads... Might not be valid but no point in shouting it from the roofs who's in it and who isn't.
like TOPS30 remarked the ad's do show, no milage in clicking member pages like mad to see your own, check backlinks Y MSN(beta) and G you'll see the effect. (and don't forget to look at the cached pages the real pages will long have moved on) Remember the main aim is not to increase direct traffic it's to increase genuine links. They don't need to be "pretty" they can be tucked away in a corner as long as they are crawled and genuine. Cheers M
It's not hard to find sites that display ad network ad's. All you really have to do is pick a couple of the most commen sites (generally have higher weight, thus more links to them) from the list of ads you have in your ad_network_ads.txt and to a linkdomain: search for the url's in yahoo. It's been mentioned here a few times, your not going to get a full list, but its interesting to see some of the other sites in the network.
You could just keep refreshing the ads to see who is advertising. http://ads.digitalpoint.com/network.php
Shawn has mentioned that people should not do this. I just taxes an already overloaded server. Let's wait until the new servers come in .
Lets not post "how to do it" anyway. Why would anyone need to know? Its just extra over heard for the servers and makes things a bit "too out in the open". Thanks
Just wondering - when looking at IBL's - why does Google's cache not display ads as they were spidered but Yahoo's cache does? (on Google the ads appear to be updated) Am I just looking at this the wrong way?
Awall19, thanks for the explanation. So does that mean Yahoo and MSN update cache and backlinks simultaneously? Also, just noticed from your signature you're the author of seobook.com - I've been getting your feeds for a while now. Keep up the great work.
