Is there a link between installing a SSL certificate and traffic falling?

    I installed a SSL certificate on one of my websites last year, and almost instantly after doing so, my traffic fell, and there were less pages being indexed. Can this be attributed to me doing something wrong with installing the SSL certificate?

    Yes of course. If the redirects are not all correct, images not appearing, etc - this can cause serious problems.
    Is it a WP site?
