Dear forum members. I would like to know your opinion based on experience in the following question. What is the limitation or drawback of Google keywords suggestion tool for both SEO and SEM? Why other tools are being used for generating keywords?

I heard complains from some big SEO companies that they have to spend a lot of money for keywords. Why?

The keywords you find using Google keywords suggestion tool are quite expensive because so many other Adwords users use it.
Other free tool to do a keyword research is at goodkeywords.com

There was another wonderful Keyword tool by Yahoo, Overture, I don't know what happened to it...

I agree with alex900. I also have found that when unmonitored Google's Keyword tool can generate a bunch of unrelated and lame keywords. It is a good starting point, but I wouldn't just let it add as many keywords as possible. Some of the keywords (and my laziness) has cost me a pretty penny (this is likely the complaints you've heard).

Google Adwords provides too much unrelated keywords and not helping to select best keyword. Google Adword doesn,t help to select effective and less expensive keyword?
