ok, so you get paid per 1000 impressions... lets say i have 10 ads on one page, and one person views that page, thats 10 impressions, right? do adnetworks have a limit on the banners allowed on a page? and do the companies adjust how much you get per 1000 impressions based on click thru rate?
Not really, not through Ctr but rather by demand supply, niche etc how many ads on one page... well it depends on the tos of the network you are advertising with.
You'll need to keep some network's CPM ads above the page's fold, so having 10 ads on one page with some below the fold might be a problem. Check the ad networks TOS and you should find more information about the number of ads per page limit.
Ya, check the TOS. On my network, TextAdMarket, we only allow 4 text-ad banners per page. Each banner can hold between 1 and 5 text ads, so you could end up having 20 text ads per page if you really wanted.
