Is there a job like this?

Hi,

I need your precious advice. Do you know if there are companies who pay for people to travel and to write travel guides or reviews? Which are they? I have a talent on writing and I like to travel, why not earn money out of it? Do you know maybe how much you can earn out of this business?

There is no such thing unless you are an authority in tourism or a journalist you won't get payed to do that .

 

I dont think by this type of business people dont earn much and there may be few companies who offer this

 

Maybe major travel magazines? But you must be pretty lucky to land one of these jobs and the competition would be extremely fierce.

You can find websites that pay you to write reviews (yes you can write reviews for travel, it's your choice).

I got money from them, so they work for real.

 

There are actually jobs like this out there but it depends on what you want to do. If you want someone to pay you to stay in a hotel and review their facilities you don't have much chance - these jobs are left to the best travel journalists. If however you're willing to be paid $3 for a post on trip advisor or a similar site about a place you haven't been to then yes these jobs are available.

Finding jobs in these forums is going to be hard as it is a niche sector but if you send me a PM i'd be happy to tell you where you can find travel writing jobs - they can be found!

 

Try for your local newspapers or magazines.

 

Insight on mturk hires people for travel writings. The rate is $3.00 for 100-150 words.

 

About.com has those sort of jobs, you get paid just over $600 per month to write about tourism in your local area.

Of course there are jobs like this, although you'd be expected to have qualifications in Leisure and Tourism, or something of the sort.

Also, unless you're a character with some importance behind you, it will be difficult to achieve.

 

You can be paid for writing reviews for major travel Review sites but i don't think they let you travel and review the place.

 

You can become a freelance travel writer or seek employment with a travel site.

 

Such job is a dream job

I doubt any company hires such employer ...

 

Try applying for a television and request a tv show like that

 

I assume it's a very fierce competition out there in this field because I wrote the same topic on the major travel guides forums and some people there jumped to kill me.
