Was checking the stats again. I'm basically now getting the same traffic I got from 5 weeks ago. On the positive side my percentage of yahoo visitors went up...dohhh
Same here. My 1-2 month old site was on the 11th spot (1st on 2nd page) and now I can't find it within the first 10 pages.
I don't thing it is a roll back, Google always use a part of their old results in case the are testing something and the results don't go the way that expected, but after few days I think they will put back their updated results in place
It came back for me today at 2pm, and the numbers are looking better than ever. Won't be happy till I see it for a few days though. Rock n Roll!
Is anyone else seeing improvement??? My site in question went up 6 positions on one term Friday and nothing else going on since. It remains on page 2 for that phrase (the 2nd most competitive phrase for the site) and the rest of the phrases are still burried deep. Even the noncompetitive phrases. Every DC shows a different position. Just totally crazy junk for a solid week. I noted today that in yesterday's stats we have almost the old amount of SE traffic................. only most of the traffic came from MSN and Yahoo. NEVER has this happened before!!!! Very strange. Perhaps the searchers got tired of the craigs list, ebay, expired proxy bids and such that are suddenly in the results. Still continues to be sites in the search results that should not be there, although a good bit of them were removed on Friday. Just wondering what others are finding after a week of the google experiments.
No improvement at my side... My results went from page1 to page 130 for main kewords... Very less traffic from google.... compare to yahoo
No improvement for me also, For 2 days I have almost no visitors from Google and I was on top10 position for many of my keywords. What irritate me is when I see on my Statcounter the Search Engine Wars part
My rankings are now back where they were just before I noticed this drop They started coming back a few days ago, but now they're all back, and in some cases, they've even improved Still don't know if it was a rollback but whatever it was, it's corrected itself, for me anyway. Hope it does the same for you folks too
I do not believe that they are roll backs. What I think is that they are pushes down depending on natural link generation. It is just a theory, but: I have a 3 year site that whenever i buy links for it, its serps go down sometimes a bit - sometimes a lot. Go figure
Well, my serps came back last night and all are on page 1 with the most competitive now at #5. I am jumping for joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way better than I expected!!! I hope everyone else saw their positions return to the old or even better positions!!!!! This thread helped keep my sanity!!! 8 days is a long time for a reshuffle.
