I have 8 sites that are PR3 & 4 and I want to link these into a new site I own, my question is since I own all the sites will there be a penelty from Google if I link them all into 1 site?
If you are talking about one one-way link from all your sites to the new one - no penalisation. If you start "heavily" cross-linking between all your sites, yes you may suffer a penalisaton.
It sounds like a link wheel, but I am not sure. I think if Google knows all the sites links to that site all your own site, then it involved the manuplicate the SEs, so I think Google gonna penalise u!
u should redirect all site to one of the existing site which have highest pr and not new domain for seo
As long as the site you are about to link and the one you are linking has the same category.. that will be just fine Relevancy is important..
if you want to add your site links on your one site then your that site should be point on different server or hosting if you use same server for your all site then it can harmful
From what I understand, cross-linking, or creating linkwheel-like matrix between all of them may be penalized, however direct links shouldn't hurt ya.
The site that gets link (new one) will gain PR while the other that gives outbound links will loose some PR value.
