Is there a google dance on ?

I'm sure theres a google dance on,

My two top sites went up and down like yo-yo's for hours, one went to number 6 then 5 then 4 then back down to 8th and the other went to number 7 in google then 9th then 10th, still up though !! Both for top class keywords, so just wondering if there is a google dance on !

 

If they are youngher then 1 year yep Google dance is posible ....

 

Yep, its been dancing for 48+ hrs now.

 

Yep it's been happening to me too! One of my pages went from 1st to 4th, now it's 2nd :S

 

Yup, me too noticed something.

Was searching for something and I got one result the first time and when I searched for the same thing again
after about half an hour the results had changed.

I've noticed some serp rises or one site of mine that I hope is emerging from the sandbox, but nothing drastic.

I've also noticed that Google Image Search has updated it's content / number of images crawled on two new sites of mine.

 

number of pages indexed on my site has gone up in webmaster tools but i have slipped to page 2

 

Yes, I noticed the same sort of issues. Let's hope the effects are not too detrimental and only temporary :-S

 

It's addictive ! One site was 6th for a one word very competitive keyword then 10th, So, I checked lots of google data centers, funny how it was either 6th or 10th in them all, nothing in between, I'm just praying the final outcome is 6th, Yes one site is very old, about 8 years, my new site is one month old and jumping from 4th to 10th in all google date centers for good keyword phrase black hat SEO ! I hope it keeps at 4th place !

 

Is pagerank being updated also?

Definitely dancing for the last 48 hours, 2-3 positions like a yoyo.

 

There is not a google dance going on right now as i checked the data centers per say. But google has been doing some changes to there algorithms and the results have been changing longer then 48 hours it's been for over a month now. I have had results go from the first page up to the 4th page now for over a month.

 

I've noticed that for some of the serps I track I see a "rollback" of sorts back to what I saw at least a month ago. Something going on.

 

No, doesn't look like it.

 

A lot of our pages are going up and down in the index too - mostly going up though Thanks to hard work in the last few months to increase our inbound links.

Noticing this since last night .... many keywords are dancing !!!

 

already for some day a lot of changes in serps for my keywords..

 

Its not just young sites...my site is 5 years old and some of my important terms are yo-yo-ing. Been #1 for over two years on one important term to so hoping it settles down soon and I remain on top...making me very nervous.
