    1. Allow only one registration per IP adress. But spammers can get many IP adresses.
    2. Charge $5 for each registration. But that will highly reduce registration so I don't want do that.
Do you guys have some good ideas?

Turn on the "require unique email per account" and "users must confirm their emails", this will help reduce spammers.

I'm not saying about bot. I'm saying about "one people, one account". So the "email verification" doesn't help.

Verifying emails will stop many of the run-of-the-mill multiple accounts (as in the average troll).

Though in MOST cases, multiple accounts from the same IP address simply indicates multiple people from the same house. I have three people that use this computer, and we are all members of a few forums. Restrict one of us, the rest of us will leave! Some businesses have multiple people going to the same sites as well... and most of those people are legit.

If someone really wants multiple accounts, they will have them... and restricting things to one IP/account will NOT stop the people you are wanting to stop, just piss off your honest members.

With the number of Proxy sites out there, I can by-pass your IP restriction with ease if I wanted to have multiple accounts on your site (or any site) but I'm not that kind of person... I'm also not the kinda person that would go through the hassle of using multiple proxies for sites I share in common with my wife & daughter.

    Just saying...
