Darwin already did. Seriously though, I'm an affiliate marketer and not really qualified to give such answers... but if someone were to look at how a human grows from a single sperm and egg, and then develops into a fetus, human... it's kind of like a super-speed example of evolution, one cell organism evolves into something more complex. But seriously, I'm just an affiliate marketer...
Yeah, but according to the Bible "God is a spirit". Not something you can touch. A spirit is a lot less of a mass than a cell weight wise (do I make sense?) So where does a spirit come from, where do emotions come from?
If you are talking about this from a scientific point of view, then you have to realize that the concept of a spirit is not scientific. There is no way to prove or disprove the concept of a spirit, at least not with current technology.
Any reason is good to blabber about governments, hey? (I will never give the attribute "God" to a government, even "lower God" ;p)
but look at China or North Korea etc.. People believe in their commie governments, very few believe in gods. I respect that belief more than yours, atleast we know that governments exist.
And the little monsters hiding in your closet (you know, the ones telling you Bush is after you) don't either
Asian people have a stong tradition about spirits and Gods. They believed (in the ancient times) something like the Egyptians; the Emperor was a divine messenger. That's why they follow the leaders, although there is a lot of controversy in China about the govs (remember Tien-an Men). Of course, they, now, don't believe that the govs are Divine messengers but the tradition of obedience is strong in most Asian countries.
I suppose Santa and elves are in the north pole, and a tooth fairy flies around collecting teeth too. The simple fact is there's no evidence of a god and no reason to believe in it other than fear of the unknown.
