Im just wondering is there is a drag and drop/copy and paste program for designing webpages.Im a newbie learning to design and something like this could give me a headstart, some sort of simple program that you can drag a rectangle,.click it and click red or whatever like in Microsoft Paint, then put text in it and so on,writing the code as you design it.Thanks guys!

Homestead.com used to have them, it's called a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) HTML editor. I wouldn't recommend it, the webpage usually can't be read correctly by the browsers.

Try this HTML editor called NVU. Great for beginners.

I use www.vodahost.com, I created the website in my sig with it. I don't really know what html is or how it works. You can get a free trial and then if you want to publish its 7.99/month for hosting (only through them thats the catch). But I've never had any problems.

Bluevoda from bluevoda.com is excellent, very easy to use and loaded goodies. They let you try it out first.

Several years ago i started out with 'Actual Drawing'
It's pretty easy and gave me a solid base when i was a noob.

Later i switched to Dreamweaver and it rocks big time :D

Webstarts is my favorite. By far. It's a simple but powerful WYSIWYG drag-and-drop website builder
