Is there a description Meta tag in wordpress blogs?

I just installed word press. I ave entered the title of the blog, but I can't see a description meta tag.

without the plugin it is not possible.
many bloggers are lazy to install the plugin.

 

lol yeah, and it only takes like 2 seconds to install... but yes, install the all-in-one seo pack...

 

All-In-One-SEO is a great plugin. It lets you put in your title, description and keywords to be used. I highly recommend it

 

I think meta tags should be a default feature of wordpress.
