Is there a cut off date for counting links in PR update?

If I get a high quality high PR link in the next week or so, is it going to be included in the next PR update (late July)? More generally, does Google count backlinks right before they calculate a site's PR, or there is a cut off date? Obvious there has to be some time, maybe a few days, before G can pick up that link.

Yes there is. Read mvandemar's sticky for a description and example of the 'snapshot' date.

Last snapshot was about 3 weeks before the PR update .... so it's probably too late now to get new links added for this coming PR update at the end of July .....

    Cheers....
    Gerald.
