Just a tip for preventing SPAM from public domain name registrations, which is cheaper than paying to hide your email address. I have one domain, at which I have registered. Then I apply a blacklist to ALL email addresses for the domain, such as *@mydomain.com. Then I apply a whitelist for my registrar, like goaddy.com or whatever you are using. The white list takes priority over the blacklist, so the important email from your registrar comes through. ALL other email will be rejected. Problem of SPAM solved. If you have only one domain, it is not really worth it. But if you have lots (hundreds, or thousands) of domains this trick is fantastic. If your SPAM protection does not offer this type of thing, drop me a DM and I can give you details on one that can (for free).
