Does anyone have a cold fusion update for the ad_network?

I am new to the ad network. I have been able to install and validate my site, but now the footer is telling me "ad_network.php file needs updating".

Dunno... Does the FAQ say anything on it? (HINT!!!)

Sorry, I see you mean update. Should be under setup instructions, otherwise not needed I guess.

It is needed. My CF pages are displaying the '...you need to upgrade...' link.

Nitin, the member who originally ported the code seems to have stopped visiting the forum and it hasn't been updated in some time. We're in the middle of having the code re-written and will post here once it's finished and tested. Hopefully that won't be more than a couple a days time.

Just curious as to the status of the cold fusion code...? Also, is it recommended that I keep the ad network going on my site and display the "ad_network.php requires updating" message or should I take it off until the code is ready?

Probably best to just take it off.

I got the first draft back from the developers and it was badly broken. They're working on fixing it as I type.

I don't know whether keeping ads live when all they say is '...requires updating...' is a good idea but, for me, removing the ads is more of a pain than updating the code...

I'm hassling the developers and I'm hoping it will be ready today - mind you, it's 4.30pm uk time so it may be tomorrow.

Ive taken it off till we get a stable version.

Shawn are changes like this going to be often as I think there needs to be a longer "cooling off" period between FORCING users to change as you can see these updates don't happen overnight.

The only people that get the message about needing to update are ones that have needed to update for more than a month.
