Not likely unless it's for a non-competitive keyword, unless you get lots of high PR backlinks. But if I were going to do any "work" and backlinking it would would be on my own domain. Google owns Blogspot, but they could change the TOS at any time. I'd hate to put in dozens/hundreds of hours of work and they decide to do like Wordpress.com and not allow affiliate links several months or years down the road.
but of course i have chosen a highly competitive keyword. is there something i can do to be on top just be editing the codes of it?
Blogger has nothing to do with your serp. If you gain site value you will rank high, even on top if backlinks and content are strong enough.
yeah i already have a pr2 using blogger but its not enough, visits a day is less than a hundred. i guess i already did everything to it. i'm just curious how those people who claimed they earn $60 a day using blogger had edit their codes..
i think they can. The movie release blog i use, i check every day and i love it and i could not live with out it, is hosted on blog spot....
It needs a lot of SEO techniques to adopt. Some of these are- 1-Improve keyword density 2-Get some good quality back links from high PR sites 3-Use your keywords in meta tags as well as in blog title, post title,in the tag/category list & in the first few words of your posts. 4-Use your keyword as anchor text while getting backlinks. I hope these methods will help you to improve the SERP of your bogspot blog.
Fast, simple and straight to the point. Google: make money online this is one of the most competitive and most sought after keyword phrases in internet marketing. Do you see any blogspot blogs on the front page? enough said............
It has nothing to do with your code, it's about your seo skills. But like was mentioned, why put so much work into a site that you don't own ? Anyone can be number one if they put the work in, it doesn't matter what platform it's on. As far as those "other people"...people lie, so you can't believe everything that you hear. Everyone wants to portray themselves as the big web guy that makes a bunch of money, but the real story is, most bloggers don't make a dime.
The problem with blogspot is that it is so hard to get index in Google. You better transfer to wordpress.
