Is There a Better way to Avertise than Google Adwords?

I tried facebook and yahoo beside adwords, all i can say is adwords best

 

The user asked if there were other ways to advertise besides Adwords. Not were there other programs similar to Adwords. I think they wanted to know other ways to advertise on their sites.

There are many ways to advertise and monetize your website. Adsense is good for ppc, but may not be the best method for your site.

The first two choices are Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing. The third will be Facebook for me. I am interested in advertising only on Yahoo Messenger or social sites. I think it is valuable, because of higher targeting options.

Though I’m a newbie in online promotion, I feel Adword would be a very useful tool for my campaign. Just look at the complicated and comprehensive system, you know it’s up to something. They can put the very abstract ideas into measurable aspects. You know the effect of the whole advertisement campaign just like the your palm.

 

To generate leads, ads on social network (Facebook ads, myspace,...) are also very good.

 

I find ads on social networks to be very hit or miss. For my campaigns they have often generated a high number of unqualified clicks. It really depends on what you are trying to advertise.

 

You can try MSN, Through MSN you will get potential customer.

all the ppc models work the same. If you are considering ppc then you might as well stick to adwords becoz of google's reach. Other PPc programs are not as worth as adwords (may find some which work for you and my opinion is a general one and not to you in particular). You should try out different things and find out what best suits ur needs

 

i went into adwords blind and i remember reading a few posts that people could easily lose lots of money. i would now say that those comments are scaremongering nonsense. it's not scary or complicated and you're always in control of your spending, so you're not going to wake up one day and find that you've lost thousands of dollars.

the fact that you're here indicates an interest in learning, so my advice would be to buy a decent adwords book and dive in. actually, i thought it was fun and something that you can started with cheaply if you want and learn as you go.

if you've got a good product and a good site and you're not trying to sell into a field that is already dominated, then you should find that it works. i've sold heaps thru it and I continue to refine and get more out of it.

not trying to denigrate or dismiss people making a living as an expert and there'd be a ton of things that I would tell people to get professional advice for - but, adwords would have to be one of the easiest things i've worked with.

 

Adwords is good, but you have to make sure you know what you are doing because if you don't, it can blow a pretty big hole in your pocket pretty fast .
