Is There A Better Solution Than Add-On Domains?

I have around 15 domains I own and I'm slowly trying to build each one into something that will make money. Right now, I have my blog as my main site and that which has the Cpanel stats. Under that are all my other web sites as add-on sites. It seems as it's a good way to run each site as they are all under the same cPanel. In addition to this, it saves money on hosting.

Does this seem like the best way to run all of these sites? How do you all do it?

I have about 18 sites like this all on a HostGator account and it can get a bit messy when installing scripts as they don't always work properly when used with an addon domain.

I will be soon moving them to a reseller account which should be much more manageable as all the files for each domain will not be mixed up in the root folder of the main domain.

A reseller account is not very expensive and is a much better architecture than having multiple addon domains. You will also get more bandwidth to play with too.

I'm fine with using add-on domains in one cpanel... as aimtowin suggested the other option is to setup a reseller account and have separate accounts for each domain.

I have about 10 domains running on one cpanel and it has worked just fine for me. However, I don't run many scripts.
