I am getting a little tired of Outlook 03's 'quirks'. Wondering if anyone has had better experience with an alternative. Free is better...
I use PocoMail and like it alot, not free though ($40) but alot cheaper than Outlook and they have a free 45 day trial so you can play around with it to see if you like it
Outlook 2003 is a poor choice for anyone these days unless they are working in a corporate environment that employs Microsoft's Exchange Server. Even Windows Essentials Mail is generally better than Outlook for the average user. Having said that, my preference for my personal (as in not business) email is Gmail. Don't need a mail client at all. For business emails I use Thunderbird.
Yes, but my comment is still accurate no matter which version of Outlook someone is using. It's a bloated program optimized for use with Exchange Server and Thunderbird is better for most users.
For best mail client that free and useful nothing can beat Thunderbird..as myself using Thunderbird why not you give it a try download Thunderbird mail client
You can go for the Microsoft Outlook 2007 instead of Outlook 2003. The newer version has many features upgraded. As you have hands on experience on Outlook 2003 you can easily use it. This email client serves all you business purposes and you don’t have to install in separately, it come as a part of MS Office 2007. And you can use the Migrate Outlook software to migrate the old emails that are in Outlook 2003 into the upgraded version.
in my opinion Mozzilla Thunderbird is the best and the faster one. I don`t like outlook and i never used it. I have used thunderbird instead with good results
Entourage is crap and crashes all the time (MHO). Outlook 2011 / Outlook 2010 are the best in my opinion!
I've tried Thunderbird and man I can't figured out how to configure my email account properly on that. btw, I use outlook 2006 and it's good so far, just remove all add-ons that some of the apps may have stealth-installed.
