Is ther a speech to text translator?

    Hey All,

    I am looking for a speech to text translator. I have a few things that I wrote a while back on paper and want to put it in a word doc. Is there any program that will allow me to read it into a mic and it convert it into a text format?

    Well, one free way to do this is for you to use Windows Vista.
    There is built-in software that enable you to speak to the mic and it will convert your speech into text in word processor. I enjoyed playing with this thing.

    Yea, I did a search and seen that but I am on XP.

    I was looking at this Dragon NaturallySpeaking Looks interesting, Might give it a try
