You can use google trends to compare how often terms are searched I'm not sure though... I would daresay the same that is searched at yahoo and others... Yahoo have a list of the most searched somewhere, so do some other search engines like lycos, which are mainly new movies, latest hollywood stars involved in scandals and all that dribble Check here: http://50.lycos.com/ I dunno why people search for myspace.. i mean its www.myspace.com... kinda obvious... I wouldn't exactly google for yahoo on a regular basis.. just doesnt make sense to me EDIT: http://www.google.com/press/intl-zeitgeist.html has a list of "popular" search terms... doesn't say the most searched terms, but it gives an idea of whats hot at the moment
Google trends is my choice too. But if you want specific keywords to build webpages on the google adwords keyword suggestion tool is the way to go. Thank You
