Is the word "Spiderman" trademarked?

    There are many different trademarks on spider-man. If you are talking about creating a site that anything to do with comic character or similar, then a domain that contains that mark in it would be infringement. Adding words to the mark does not get around infringement. If you are talking about a domain that talks about pest control, then you would have to do a trademark search (which isn't just searching the USPTO site).
