Living in Canada this greatly effects our economy. With the Canadian dollar higher than the American dollar, many people are ordering online or going to the states to purchase stuff. This has a negative effect on the Canadian economy, however, the interest rate will be changed soon to help deflate the Canadian dollar as it is rising to fast.
Go ahead an email the stupid Federal reserve and tell them to stop lowering interest rates and start raising them again. Theres absolutely no reason they should be bailing out banks and mortgage companies because they made stupid loans (Sub-prime mortgages).
I wonder if in the near future the Euro will overtake the US Dollar as the main world currency for doing business in this would be good for me as a seller but not so good as a buyer.
If the Euro were the save all end all to Currency, wouldn't the UK have jumped on board? The Euro only benefited those who already had a devalued currency...
I'm from the UK and converting £ into $ gets you alot. But scenes the internets main currency is the US dollar. It isn't good business for me.
