Is the US bailout worth more than the US is worth?

According to Peter Wolf (Land in America, 1981), the total value of all land in the U.S. in 1975 was $1.3 trillion. Assuming an average annual appreciation of 5 percent per year, the land is worth $6.8 trillion as of 2009.

Depending on whose figures you trust, the dollar amount of what the US Congress has spent on the USA economic bailout is between $8.7 trillion and $12.8 trillion.

This is just Obama. It doesn't count the Democrat bailouts bills starting in March 2008 sponsored by Democrats that Bush just blindly signed without reading what Pelosi sent him.

Are Americans getting good value for their money?

I'm not sure where you are getting your figures, but the US GDP itself is some where around 13 trillion a year alone.

And for the records, Bush was not doing anything blindly. Pelosi and the dems have been running the show for some time now. There's really no choice in the matter. Hopefully someone takes that wicked biatch out at some point.
