Is the seduction niche dead?

been trying my hand at it for three months, no sales....just a few clicks on adsense. anyone with any experiance? I dont know where to find my target audience...i just want one sale to keep my spirits up jeeeeze

That's not a bad start to a site. Could probably be updated more regularly for sure... how about backlinks to the site?

The nice thing about a site like yours if you write some REALLY quality content or link-bait then you can probably get quite a few links easily. If it was me I'd consider hiring someone to write a quality link-bait article (pay someone good $$ not some cheap content writer). Get a few people to post it on DIGG / Stumble Upon and other social sites and see it take off!

 

What do you mean by seduction niche?? Do you mean dating niche?

 

With that field you need to focus on one thing and position yourself as expert in that field.

 

Looking at the links for the site, I see that you have a decent amount. What's bad is that all of the links only come from six sites. You need to get high quality, relevant links from many different sources.

 

1. by seduction i mean, how to get girls ( not a place online to meet women such as dating and stuff but actual theory on how women become attracted to men)
2. What is link bait? would these articles be on my site, or would they be on someone elses with a link to mine?
3. I tried emailing ever single site on my links page, only those 6 added me kind of a bummer guesse ill need to keep trying
4. Im not an expert in the field ( unfortunatly) so its hard to establish myself as one.

 

How many visitors have you had so far (It takes over 100 visitors before one will buy. And for crap like this, it may be over 200, so....), and where have they been coming from?

Have you been using ads? if so, how are they worded?

I see what you are trying to sell off to the right, but you have to put those things right in front of their faces, right after they get done reading the articles, or whatever it is they are reading. Their eyes are staying right in that section, and going down, so put it there.

Then tell them to order right now to read more tips, to read, hear more on how to better meet women. Or whatever sell words you choose to put in.

You have to actually tell them to make a decision right now.

There are links there in the articles, but that is not enough. You have to TELL them to take action.

Then put the ordering form right below that. Don't have them click on a link to go to the ordering page. Get them at the heat of the moment.

Also, you have a link that goes to another site, but when the visitor close out of it, they also close out of your site. Have all links open a new window.

And why are you having a link that goes to Wikipedia?

You do not want potential customers straying from your site. You are trying to make a sale, so you want their full attention.

In my eyes, you've got two ways you can make this site profitable (excluding CPC/CPM as being very familiar with this niche I'm positive that you definitely won't get a great CTR):

1. Pick a good product or two to sell and completely rewamp your site so that it would be completely focused on your product(s) - no fuss, no worthless links outside your site, just the necessary content and the product. Also follow what PhilipR had to say.

2. Focus on content and establish a quality mailing list, to whom you can later on pitch different products. For this, however, you most definitely need someone to know about the particular field on an expert level, as no $1/100 words "copywriter" can provide you with quality content on this topic.

honestly like 4 visitors a day, but I dont do promotions...the only think i can think of is write articles for ezine...i dont know how to get it infront of alot of people

 

Dude. you need to build links to your site and get people interested in what you're writing about... it's as simple as that. Get a good article (or few articles) on Digg / Stumble / Twitter and see some backlinks / traffic.

Setup a twitter account and start twittering about what you're blogging about

You need to sit down and think why people would want to visit your site. What they would be looking for. Who would be visitng. What sort of money making idea would work with this demographic, etc...

It takes more than just putting something up and saying is it? Obviously it's not dead otherwise Maxim, Playboy, FHM, etc... would not be around.

Maybe building an e-mail list would help. That always helps for me. I've transitioned recently from affiliate to vendor but that's what worked for me when I was doing affiliate work. Give something free. I had 1/20 success when using my list vs just sending to site which never worked.

Got a product in the Seduction/PUA niche that's a bit different... Anybody that's into this niche get back to me.

 

Its not the seduction niche is dead - its full of spam. And I do not mean your site, I mean the niche in general. Its been done too many times, over and over again. So that means your gonna have to do something different, like make some videos, maybe do a weekly video blog on youtube, maybe try some podcasting,,, stuff like that.

When you enter into a saturated market, you have to offer something that your competition does not.

 

Sex always sells, it's just human nature. As such the problem is not the niche you have chosen. It can be too much competition, not enough good content, the product you are selling, the salesletter/copy of the product you are selling, the price, etc. Don't forget to do some market research on the vistors to your website/blog. The more you know about them the greater the chance you can sell something to them. You can then tailor your offers to your market.

Now go build content, links and write some articles and get visitors to your site.
