Does anyone know anything about the rumours concerning the Rich Jerk selling up to avoid bankruptcy, or is it another RJ ploy to get more press?
This is old news, A couple of weeks ago Shoemoney posted The Rich Jerk was selling out for $8M? He also mentioned that a credible source told him the reason was to avoid bankruptcy. The Rich Jerk sent Shoemoney a Cease and Decist email along with a threat of legal action for slander. The whole thing is actually pretty funny, the business appears to be up for sale and Shoemoney states pretty clearly it’s all speculation until the rich jerk speaks up about it. Since then the article has been removed from Shoemoneys website.
Rich Jerk itself was a huge hype, and the guy behind the product made a massive amount of money through it. His product however is terrible, it simply prodives information that is too vague.

He certainly does know how to play the online buzz game... I wonder how many forums and blogs have threads started "is rich jerk about to become poor jerk"... look at this thread - it's one of the most read posts here today.
I think he finally realized that the Rich Jerk brand and the overall business model was finally becoming "boring" and now he might invest his money into newer projects. It was good while it lasted but now the money making market has become too saturated to say the least.

His products are pretty much useless in my opinion. They all include stuff you can find on the net for free. I think he knows he's going down hill, especially when looking at his sales charts... who knows though really. Time will tell.
Dear Loser, My last email sent shockwaves. People are FURIOUS. Some because they know there's no way they're getting into my exclusive party at the *Playboy Mansion*. Others because I publicly BLACKLISTED them from attending. The blacklistees are people you probably know. Some celebrities, and some famous internet marketers. Can't you guys see?? When Shoemoney actually made those first posts it was remarkably near the time when he was launching AuctionAds. When RJ replied with the "lawsuit", he was pushing his Playboy party. See any co-incidence? Just because Shoemoney said he don't like hype doesn't mean he won't be a part of it...
I too think it was all one massive publicity stunt. In fact I posted a comment saying that on the jerks blog, and he deleted it. And when you see some of the not so nice comments he gets - I think that's odd. You've got to hand it to him though - he's a genius at marketing.
