Is the referral bonus dynamic?

I know our weight score is recalculated every 2 days, but is the referral bonus dynamic too? I want to add a new site but was considering holding off until it gets indexed fully

It's dynamic as well... So if something starts with a weight of 100, you would get the bonus of 10. If it later grows to have a weight of 10,000, the referrer would have a bonus of 1,000 at that point.

As the bonus is calculated dynamically ....

Is the bonus calculated on the Base Weight of the referral?

    or

Is it calculated on the "Base Weight + Bonus" of the referral?

    Base weight, it's not multi-level.

    oh pooh!!!
Have I been missing out on free referrals???
I added my first site, great.
Then I added 3 more sites WITHOUT giving my first site a referral. Was that stupid?

Can I close accounts and re-open them?
Actually I want to close a couple of websites anyway that aren't compatable with the system

I think there was an earlier post stating that the referral is deducted from the referee. So there's really no point if you're referring yourself.

It wouldn't serve much purpose because the weight is taken from the new account and given to the referrer. Since all the sites are your own, your total weight would still be the same.
