    sorry, but i just started and after getting adsense im making 10+$/day, proxys been up under 2 weeks. no real research, just extra bandwidth and old domain name lying around. maybe its my super duper keyword =P

    to answer the question about saturation, I dont think it will ever be too saturated. Whenever the proxys get blocked, people go to the next. you really get the same opportunities bcuz local admins block after they see the site you visited everyday for the past month. Only when the proxy herders grow, will we see a drop in the avg traffic per proxy. I dont see that happening for awhile becuz so many ppl still dont use proxies when their situation could use one (work, school). For every person that becomes a proxy host, he/she prolly brings 10+ people into using proxies, and I bet they dont just use their friends one.

    I agree with you 100%. I get so tired of hearing questions from folks wanting to start a proxy, based only on the fact that it's easy to do!

    I thought it was saturated a year ago when all the DP/SP auctions were selling them, I really wouldn't consider it a niche. For the amount of work and bandwidth required, there's a lot better avenues to take.

    Proxy difers becouse constantly people using proxys need new ones as the old one gets baned from the place they are using them ..

    It is saturated.

    It won't earn more with less traffic.

    Proxies are abused alot, and get alot of traffic and hotlinking.

    It costs alot to run a proxy ( a decent one anyawy ), and the market is saturated.
