Is the price I paid fair for SEO?

    In my opinion you didn't pay enough, not even close. I've been in the industry for many years and if you want someone decent that will get you anywhere from 1-4 hours of work. You really do get what you pay for.

    Now, on the other hand you have to be really careful when hiring an SEO firm. Even a lot of the more expensive companies are awful. Some just take your money and do nothing. For example, SEO inc is terrible. The don't even rank for their own name on Google. They used to be #1 for the keyword SEO for a number of years, now they're nowhere to be found. They obviously use techniques that Google doesn't like.

    So, in my opinion I think you probably just wasted the $450. You probably hired someone that was inexperienced or has no clue what they're doing.
