Is the paypal payment ID same as what the seller would see?

    After making a paypal payment, I would see a Transaction ID. e.g. Payment Sent (Unique Transaction ID: 1234567890122468R)

    Can the seller search for my transaction using the Unique Transaction ID: 1234567890122468R that I gave him?

    I mean lets say if I told the seller Transaction ID: 1234567890122468R , will the seller be able to search his paypal using by the number 1234567890122468R or partial number 2468R to find out the transaction details (how much, who, name, time...) ?

    Yes, there is a "Find a transaction" option and the seller can search by email, transaction id, buyer's name, receipt id, invoice id, and a number of other parameters.
