I am tring to add atm cum debit card of state bank of mysore which belongs to state bank card but itz not get added up. Can anyone tell me wht can i do now?? Is there anyone who already done this activity with payapl??
I think your debit card is "Electron Debit Card". "Electron Debit Cards" can only be used in ATMs, for purchase from stores but you can't use it in Internet.
Indian debit cards can't be used online so they can't be used to verify PayPal. You need a credit card, plain and simple.
What does this word 'cum' mean to Indians? One of my 3 rewriters uses it a lot, rest of the article is fine but this is thrown in. Makes me laugh, having the mind of a 12 year old and all...
@wowhaxor lol...cum is used as a kind of conjunction, like sofa-cum-bed or pants-cum-bedsheet. Inglish is filled with lulzworthy stuff found only here. and paypal does accept debit cards from Indian banks. I know people using canara bank, SBI and union bank debit cards without much hassle. Although IOB cards are not accepted for some reason. Also, they sometimes accept those debit cards that have atleast one transaction completed through an ATM so I'd suggest you just withdraw a lil bit of cash before trying it with paypal again.
thanx for reply......buddy..............if u got any idea then tell.............i cantacted so many times with paypal but they told me that asked ur card issuer............whenever i asked them they just said that they dnt no anything abut online purchasing........they all are #####........... hope so any one can tell me the right method......... hav a nice day..........
In the Indian form of writing "cum" is used similar to "as well as"; example: producer-cum-director, means one who is a producer as well as a director (of maybe a movie) In dictionary terms, "cum" is "cumulative". –preposition - with; combined with; along with (usually used in combination)
