Is the MSN adCenter user interface always so flaky?

This morning I thought I would give adCenter a try for the first time so I signed up with the $50 promo code from another thread. That worked fine.

However, beyond that I just can't get the interface to respond reliably. On the "Campaigns" tab the controls for starting a new campaign and/or listing old ones only shows up about 10% of the time and I have yet to get completely through setting up a campaign without the interface going off into the weeds with an hourglass or worse "error on this page" indicator and nothing happening. I'm using vanilla IE6 with SP2 and repeatedly logged in and out and even rebooted the machine so I doubt that's the problem.

I guess they just don't want to take my money ;) but I can't help but wonder if it is always this bad. Any perspective on this from long time users?

All my attempts in Internet Explorer are still fruitless, but I just discovered that adCenter works fine in Firefox. It's nice that Microsoft decided on interoperability since their own product seems to be hosed.

I optimistically tried adCenter a while back but it seemed like it was in the stone age compared to adwords at that time

thats for that link - i've been using it - i used a code that gave me $100 for $5.. but i'm not sure what the code was. anyway - they are flaky - they also deliver more traffic than they charge you for.

Slow loading, awkward keywords management, little keywords impressions, very very low CTR......

I think Adwords is far better.

it is terrible interface but can give good results if patient. plus the free credits really lets you test campaigns.

They don't bold the exact match keywords in your ads like google, so the CTR is so poor.

I thought msn center is less competitive than adwords so I signed up with them. But in fact the keywords price is much higher than adwords because of the abuse of their free credits.

Thanks for the link to the beta interface!!

Still horribly slow, but a lot more useable!
