Is the canonical useful for PPC landing pages?

    Hi,

    I wonder wheter it's smart to use the canonical tag to resolve duplicate content issues with the main site. Assumably we have PPC landing pages which are very similar to our SEO site.

    Makes the canonical tag sense?

    Does this affect the quality score?

    yeah! you need it to avoid duplicate content. another option is index no follow so search engine robots will not crawl that page.
