    What is it?

Also why do you think it would be against the adsense TOS?

It's not against the TOS. It's a plugin that is actually quite good. I've used it before, and it worked out fine for me. Unless Google Updated their TOS recently, and the plugin hasn't been updated since then, then you should be fine if you use it.

Its a plugin to display your adsense ads in your posting in wordpress. I takes care that only 3 ads are displayed in your page so that you are not violating the google terms. All you have to do is to just use <!--adsense--> in your code where you want the adsense to be displayed. Give it a try. :)

One of my friend told me that it might violate. Scanned through this forum and found that it might violate only when you share some of your earnings to the author of the code since it changes the pub id of your adsense code when you select that option. Still not sure of that.

On that count, DP Forums would be banned long ago!

I think Google has long turned a blind eye to "revenue-sharing" and other savvy modifications of the Adsense code that actually improve the experience for everyone. Though the Adsense API is now supposed to handle revenue sharing for you as I understand. Shouldn't think Google could really care who the revenue went to for any one impression/click on a given site, provided the site obeys TOS...

LOADS of people use AdSense Deluxe. It is a really handy tool which allows you to insert JavaScript into your Wordpress posts (which you can't just do via the WYSIWIG editor), so I have used it for AuctionAds too (and changed the code so it CAN display more than 3 times).

You will see a lot of blogs go AdSense-less if it is violating AdSense's TOS. A lot of bloggers are using it, I am one of them. So far there isn't a single problem with it. The plugin will also automatically limit your ad unit to a maximum of three per page, which is actually saving you from trouble instead of troubling you.

    Go ahead, use it.

Though the Adsense code doesn't LET you display more than three ads anyway - it will only serve up 3 ads max. At least as far as I can see (I tried!)

For the sidebar, you actually either have to use a text widget, or, there is a php code that you can paste in there. It should be on the guys' site. I don't reccomend sidebar ads, since people will more likely click them if they are long (468x60, 728x90) that kind of thing. Or the big square ones, inside the post. Of course it's up to you.

A superior product to adsense delux is, imo, Adsense Manager, a plugin that has widget support. It also uses the same <!--adsense--> code dropped into the post so it will work with past posts.

You have to uncheck a box somewhere to stop it doing that.

I think Adsense-Deluxe plug-in is not violating Google TOS.

I have seen many people using it.

Anyway, I suggest you put the ads manually in your theme. I have done it and it works well.

One last thing, the "Adsense-Deluxe plug-in"

This plug in will show another adsense ID on your site, I think 50% of the time. Meaning that you will not earn from the ads 50% of the time. This is another reason why I don't use any plug in to display adsense.

Open the "adsense-deluxe.php" file and put your own adsense ID in this line

    $__ACMETECH_CLIENT_ID__ = "pub-xxx";
