I'd like to promote a CJ program by using free bolg, such as blogspot.com. I think after writting a lot of passages about the program which I want to promote, I can also attract some traffic from google or others. I do it just like to build a website, but it is free. Can anyone have experiences in this way? Or you have diffenrent idea about my way? I like hearing different opinions, too.
Hi, I can't tell you how well it works just yet. It's too early to tell, but I setup a blog about my CJ site. The idea was to stack the search engines with search terms for my content pages, and to bump up the PR of each page in the process. http://review-a-gadget.blogspot.com/ http://www.review-a-gadget.com/ It's easy-peesy promoting blogs and getting the PR up. Then you bleed all that precious PR into your CJ site with the spammy page links you setup. Submit the blog to all the high PR blog directories that abound on the net, and get other bloggers to swap links with you. It's much easier than trying to promote commercial sites. I found very few non-blog directories to submit my CJ site to that weren't PR0 or didn't want money for inclusion. No one wanted to link to my commercial CJ site at all. In contrast, promoting blogs is a snap! I can't say for sure, but I've read of similar two site schemes doubling the primary site's traffic by using these methods. Give it a shot - blogs are free and just cost time. There's very little to lose.
