Is that true?

I have read and heard that facebook has many minuses and issues is that true? I personally don't that that's true. But what's the truth could you tell me?

Didn't you heard about some news lately???
There are many issues about private information security, but FB founder said they will fix it.
About racism, about religion issues.
But it's no problem i think, i still use FB

 

for me, for the truth is you just make your marketing on FB,... LOL

 

Btw are there some new social site projects? And what's so special about them?

 

The new privacy settings are a big issue. I think it goes along the lines that Facebook has all the rights to any information, posts, pictures, etc. that you put on FB, and I think they can ever sell that information, but I'm not sure.

 

you question is not clear, in what sense they have minuse, regarding privcy, you can search by name your friend, and you se the pic in google

 

The negatives are abundant. For one, many people put in sensitive data such as their Name, where their from, their birth date, pictures of them (tagged pictures so its clear who is being shown), some people even include their phone numbers and emails. All of this information is not well protected, and is the reason why scammers and identity thief's have been targeting Facebook more and more recently. People are afraid to put all that information at risk, and many have even started leaving Facebook all together. In fact the demographic most concerned with Facebook's safety is young adults, mostly College age.
