I'm pretty sure you can, but it will certainly lose visitors and turn away potential visitors. Try to do the job locally first, then upload the files to keep downtime to about 5 minutes.

I think you need to do some research for adsense on parked
domains. If you think you can toss adsense on a parked domain
just on a whim, you are sadly mistaken. It sounds as if you are
not really talking about "adsense for domains," but something
else like deleting a website and keeping the index page.
Completely different animal. As far as I remember, and yes I
don't work for google, you need to get google approval for
any domain in its "adsense for domains" program.

Nobody would park a domain for 1 day while it's being updated.
And you would get adsense approval long after it went back up.
Why not a redirect it or just add content on the index page.
Or just have it be offline for a day. Happens many times.

Probably a better idea to put up a simple page saying that the site is down for maintenance so that your traffic knows to come back the next day. I am sure you can put some ads on that page too.

Yes you can.. I've been running AFD for 8 months and that exactly what I am doing... There's a very good guide available online I think it was adsenseunderground.com.

Which is exactly what adsense for domains is about.
    Not what he's talking about.
Did you read the post? He wants it for 1 day.
    Not even the same thing.

You have to follow guidelines and get google approval for doing
that. If not, then you are breaking the rules. There is a
term meaning "parked domain" in the true sense of the word.

    Thanks for all answers,

i already use AFD but my question is about for google TOS. Can you park a domain (which is already running with a website with lots of search engine indexes) again and again whenever you want.
What google says at that time?

It can take up to 48 hours for the DNS to propagate every time you park or unpark your domain. So you will likely lose a day or so of income every time you do it.

Also consider that you aren't allowed to promote Adsense for Domains sites, so if you have promotions running for your site with content, you might get into trouble if you switched it to AfD.

I read and understand clearly what is is asking... I've been rotating sites with adsense for domains for quite a while now and got no problem... It might be against adsense tos but there are ways to do that completely safe....

Just remove all advertisement and promotion before you change to AFD, and i think you will be fine. :)

I don't see it's importance... When a domain changed to AFD, of course website is not shown and ads will not shown as well. why waste time removing ads? LOl

Then you would have read that he wants to "park a domain" for one lousy day.
    Impossible.
Anyway, why would it be okay to go against the TOS but just do it safely? There aint no safe way.

So many people here like starting threads with, "I lost my adsense for no reason...."

Yep, there is an "adsense for domains" option in your profile for AdSense. It's not something that makes you a WHOLE LOT of money though, just to warn you.
