    from my own testing and stats .net domains seem to get lots of type in traffic but I think in the future .info will give it a run for no 2.

    everyone's pretty much got it right... .com, .net, .org, .info. I put org in front of .info since lots of organizations use .org which it make well known. .info isn't as "globally" known... even though we all wish it were.

    I recently told a cafe owner the name of a .info site to download videos. Next thing I know, the browser reads www.xxxx.info.com

    Its quite obvious that .info domains are still nowhere competitive to .net and .org, atleast here.

    .info is no where near .net.

    .Net is 2nd hands down, 3rd .org and lastly .info.

    Country specific if you are dealing locally or .net if this is a network or .biz if this is busuness or .org if this is an organisation or .name if this is a personal web site.
