I think the problem may be the vendors themselves. I won't know for sure until I get or don't get a refund but this company SWReg.org made it very difficult to make any copies of what I was submitting and that always makes me nervous, but there are ways to make sure you have a copy and that is to "copy image" that way you can copy everything on the page. So if they are scamming, and not the vendor, at least I have something to work from. Best answer I can give you for this - wait and see what they do- but I think they may be dependent on the vendor themselves to repay the money into the system. And I am sure there are vendors out there who don't refund anything because I have come across them also but I have worked in law many years and sometimes a subtle hint of a lawsuit moves them very well, sometimes not.. just thoughts on it
Have you tried the vendor involved? It may not be SWReg, being positive here, because the email I got from them was instant and it was addressed to the vendor I had purchased from, so that might be a better place to start, although my vendor doesn't even respond email to their support team, customer service, owner, whatever and they don't have a "contact" place on anything I received from them. All of my emails sent asking for refund from them showed SWReg addresses that were not valid - that's why I went to their actual site and looked for a "contact" place and instantly got an email - might want to try that.. I know it is really a mess when something like this occurs..but the vendor may be involved in the scam...
Try going to https://www.swreg.org/app/contactus/ and filling out their form - don't get more information but I did get an immediate email as cc and the email was sent to the vendor.. worth a try. I should know in the next day or two but I think it is highly dependent on the vendor actually putting the money back
ask them if they will remove that information before sending - I do some bookkeeping and with Quick Books you can add or delete any information you want, they probably can too- worth asking..
I wanted to report that I got a positive response that I will get a refund from SWReg/Digital River - from the vendor within 5-7 days. So try it this way and maybe you will have more success. Hope so..
te="sashko123, post: 18222770, member: 727546"]a bit extreme to bomb them? btw, as i gave the phone number in the post above,, im waiting for mt $100[/quote] I wanted to report that I got a positive response that I will get a refund from SWReg/Digital River - from the vendor within 5-7 days. So try it this way and maybe you will have more success. Hope so. I contacted them by the small "contact" at the bottom of the page on their website, having searched for SWReg and got SWReg-Digital River..the page that comes up does address your issues. mine was to get a refund from the VENDOR - swreg is just the middle man - and when I filled out their form I got immediate email response - the email was addressed to the VENDOR with cc to me. Today I got an email saying that they were processing my refund and I could expect it with 5-7 days. I stress VENDOR here because I think if you aren't getting the response you want, the VENDOR may be, at least in part, a part of the problem and the solution. SWReg appears to be the middle man for transactions for a lot of companies. As we all know, a lot of people are on the internet with the intention of scamming other people, so let's look at this from an at least 50% responsibility of the VENDOR and 50% SWReg/digital river. There is a page and I don't instantly know it but it reports scammers that are hurting people on line, you can search for it if you like. So try this method I did and see if you can't get your refund this way. And there is law about interstate and international commerce, and as the internet is global, it applies, and you can get help with transactions, at least some of them, that are made online. Sometimes just showing some knowledge that about the law can shake up a transaction and you can get some action.. anyway, look for "contact" on the bottom right hand corner of SWReg web page and you may get some help. Hope this helps..appears to be working for me..but I won't know for sure until they actually refund the money. But at least I am now getting appropriate response....
See my posts on here. They are processing a refund, as they reported to me by email yesterday and today they informed me that my refund would be to me within 5-7 business days. Look on their webpage - search, not the one they give - which shows not to be active or real - and at the bottom of their web page click on "contact" and fill out the form that is there. it is helpful to cut and paste your order information into the space. And allow that the Vendor is in charge of making the refund possible to SWReg. Hope this is useful. Appears to be working on my refund..
