    Yes, you can never do "too much" with marketing. We are just limited by 24 hours a day, as well as the want to claw our own eyes out after 300 submissions a day x 30 days :)

    10 will not be a problem, but I submit 1500/day (from one ip) and penalised for 3months...

    I know people who submit 100-200 per day with no problems.

    The issues occur when you get a huge number of backlinks the first few days, and then NOTHING. You want your linkbuilding to be steady.

    On the other hand... why did it take all day to submit to 10 directories? I strongly recommend you find a way to automate or outsource your backlinking so you can spend YOUR time on less redundant activities. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to be able to build 50 or 100 backlinks (instead of 10) each day.

    10 directory submission daily is just fine. Directory Webmasters don't approved submission instantly. You can increase your submission if you want :).
    I'm doing 100 submissions daily and i found it not bad for my website.

    you wont be penalised by google for submitting your site to more than 10 directories, so keep on submitting your site without any worries.

    Why you worry about just 10 backlinks? I have seen somebody use to submit thousands of link per day and in just 8 months they got 80000 inbound links along with PR2.
