Its a PR4 site which offers a prermant link for 1 usd, I was wondering if it is worth it?? Site is http://www.slicktree.com/
Its basically the same as any wordcloud site. It will help your pagerank, but the quality of the site is very low. It has a very low chance that the sites linking in to that site (Making it PR4) are of relation to your site, so google doesn't consider it an authority site. Then again, it is only $1. If you are looking to increase pagerank, then yeah, it is a decent way to increase it.
I see page rank 4 but do not see any links that go to site. Ones listed 3 of them do not work or do not have site listed. I think site is doing something wrong and i would not bother with it myself. No offense to website owner but how do you get page rank of 4 and no real sites linked to it or any content on site.
It is probably an expired domain, which was later picked up. It will most likely go down rather than up, but for only a dollar, it can possibly help your pagerank at the next update. Other than that, it won't help.
Good point Raithe. Most people do not know domain names go down after transfered. I wonder why so many people pay top dollar for sites that will get reranked after transfer. I know some will still have good rank but if content changes and owner changes rank changes.
