Is stumbleupon the key for you?

How much traffic are you getting to your adsense sites just from stubleupon. I was told by a colleague last night that he got 1000 uniques a day from the site alone. Another thing he pointed out is, his CTR rate from stumbleupon is like 0. Does anyone else have that problem?

I've never focused on stumbleupon traffic, so I'm not exactly sure, but I heard it works for a lot people - but I'm not sure about if they report higher earnings or not.

StumbleUpon users are the kind of visitors no one really cares about because they only stay a few seconds and don't really ever come back. They tend not click on ads or anything else as a matter of fact. If you have a large traffic base, then you'll probably get a good stumbleupon traffic count eventually, but you might get one or two out of 1000 visitors on stumbleupon users to comeback but thats about it.

stumble works like garbage for me. the first day u stumble ur site, u get like 700 uniqes that all leave and dont click. and if you dont keep stumbleing like 20 pages a day, this drops down to zero in a couple of day.

I put $20 in a stumble account and I'm trying it now.I think it totally sucks and I have three site niches.I don't think it's any better than those auto surf
    traffic programs like traffic swarm.

I've also gotten 1,000 a day but it never held for more than a week or two. My main site does get a few visitors a month from the program a year after originally being stumbled, but I'm sure others have had much more success with it.

Yeah, I'm not surprised those visitors don't convert. You'll always get more clicks from search engine traffic, as those people are actively searching out information on a specific subject (and you have info + related ads), as opposed to clicking a button for entertainment.

I haven't really focused on Stumble yet, but I think it might work for my site because my site is updated daily with new content (news and articles).

Traffic form search engine is the best. Some Traffic from Social bookmark like digg, stumbleupon, delicous will help you increase your visitors number but it not work for a long time except your site is very unique and your content are very interesting then it gonna be work.

    Stumble upon =Garbage Traffic.

Lets run this t through my Earning Formula:

Do you get good traffic= Stunning Traffic you cant beat it ---Agreed
You get good CTR= No ----Sucks
You get any good earnings- No -Sucks again
You got smart priced- Yes- Sucks thrice this time.

The system that sucks 3 times in a row, is bye bye for me.

Stay away from social bookmarking traffic if you want a good stable eCPM and dont want to get smart priced.

I think Stumble can be a good thing too. I've had my pages stumbled a few times, and each time I saw a slight increase in the RSS subscriptions. So it does help, but rarely has a direct impact on your earnings.

I really don't know what their CTR is.

I need to increase my rankings and traffic from SU, they seem to be pretty responsive when I hit them up.

My site is currently being stumbled quite a bit. The peak late last night was 350 visitors per hour. Its sent around 1400 extra visitors in the last 24 hours and although CTR is down (which is no suprise) income is up by about 1/3. Thats for Google Adsense.

For auctionads their reporting is a couple of days behind. I seem to remember the last stumble a couple of months back I saw an increase in auctionads revenue... but right now auctionads is dead on my site with low CTR and very low sales... so I wont be expecting much this time.

Stumble works very well on 1 of my sites. I managed a good ad placement and my CTR is above 3% with a few thousands/day from stumble. On other sites I also receive Stumble visitors, but I couldn't place the ads that good and my CTR is below 1%.

I did not invest any money in stumble, they just keep coming. :)

I got 3k hits on a lolcats page and it generated a total of $0.01 cents The CTR was completely non existent, as people were just there to laugh at the macro laden kitties. Most of my pages with actual content that have been stumbled have never gone viral, and have pulled in maybe a few hundred hits each....each with varying degrees of success with Adsence, though generally the (non-impression) stats for that week drop, as people clicking that stumble button are not out there to look for information. Most are bored, and most of them are just looking for something fun.
