is stumbleupon good site for gaining traffic?

I personally haven't gotten a ton of traffic from Stumbleupon but it's still a good resource. In any case you don't have anything to lose, go for it.

 

I don`t like StumbleUpon for increasing my websites traffic, because it`s not such an important websource for me and my projects ...

It is still a good way for increasing your traffic since the services they offer are free of charge.

 

Never seen much traffic from stumbleupon, and last time I looked it was also nofollow. But, you never know depends on what your site is about.

 

I never tried stumble upon yet but i have heard that from many people facebook and twitter(two biggest social networking sites on globe)are best for viral marketing.

and there are probably millions of viewers, maybe even billions and zillions!!

Depends what you mean...

If someone "naturally" uses stumbleupon to promote your site for a genuine reason it can explode.

If you try play around with it for your own ego-centered interests it will probably not bring much...

 

Of all the sites in the AddThis network that I submit to, it's the only site that I get consistent traffic - as little as it is - from.

(Now I done jinxed myself...)

I think StumbleUpon is a great way to drive traffic to your blogs, but I think another great way is to increase your pagerank and google search position using inbound links from blogs and such, what do you think?

I have been targeting stumble for website promotion, if you know how to use it you can greatly benefit from the traffic.

 

I tried it for a week, and it did give me some visits, however useless visits that left immediately.
