Is stating "members do not see ads" allowed?

I have recently placed ads under the first post of every thread in my forum. Currently only guests see these ads as I have no desire to spam them or bombard them with ads... they contribute, and that is enough.

My question is, as guests SEE the ads, they have no real way of knowing that members do not. So am I allowed to post a note under the AdSense ads that says something like 'members do not see advertisements' or something?

I wouldn't risk that, not near the adsense ads i mean.

 

I would contact them about it. If they approve it, then I would implement it.

I think it would be risky; because you are indirectly pointing the visitors to the ads.

I have seen this feature on some forums but can't recall where though.

Under every ad, i added the link "Remove advertisings" to register.php

 

So maybe it was your forums where I saw this.

 

every vbulletin forums running "Ad Management by RedTyger" has a link under every ads

So, there are thousands of forums doing it already
