I tried Sphinn a long time ago, and I didn't get much traffic from it, so I tried other ways, like StumbleUpon and Twitter. Now, I am thinking that it's time to give Sphinn another try. It's a social website for Internet marketers, so the traffic should be fairly targeted. What's your experience with Sphinn? - jens -
Never tried it. I have tried Twitter though and it does work. I wrote something on my blog about finding targeted twitter users. If you are interested - check it out here; http://gerrywalter.com/twitter-traffic/how-to-use-twittercom-for-increasing-website-traffic/ It is easy to find targeted users. Twitter seems to work ok.
I read sphinn, but I don't write the kind of content they feature, so I've never used it for promotion, but it does seem pretty much of a 'closed-shop' - very hard for someone not in the 'inner circle' to get noticed.
Twitter is really amazing it provide traffic which matters most to all of us. Spinn is also good but you need to produce more and more content and yes you need some one at different location to spinn it but who cares once you are polular your will get visitors from various locations to your webiste.
